18th July Post 28 Litter Trays

I don’t know whether it’s just because they are boys or because they are young but they are quite messy with the litter trays. They have always used them with no problems but they often scatter litter everywhere. Sometimes they will drop a little bit of wee on the floor as well, I think because they are clumsy. Thankfully I have hard flooring downstairs so easy to clean up messes. I clean out their trays once a week (all four trays) which is a bit of a job but I am used to it. Jack and Tom just watch me now as they are not as interested and it’s not new to them. However, Leo and Charlie still find it quite exciting and like to follow me. They seem fascinated when there is an empty tray and jump into it. Then obviously they wait until the tray is filled with nice fresh new cat litter and they decide they need to go toilet and do a big poo! It does make me laugh! It’s almost that seeing the new clean reminds them they need to go! I was a bit irritated last week with the litter I ordered. When it arrived I found that the package has sprung a leak and there was litter leaking out everywhere. Thankfully I managed to tip most of it into the litter tray but still took ages to tidy up the bits everywhere. That’s the problem with ordering online you never know what state the packaging will be in!
