One of my old friends from work came to visit a couple of weekends ago. She is not one for animals and has never had pets. The boys were quite happy around her though and were trying to get her attention and for her to fuss them. However, she was a bit nervous of them. There was an adorable moment when baby Charlie was lying on the floor near us as she was getting ready to leave and he rolled his ball slowly toward her which hit her foot, and she looked down at him a bit puzzled. He was gazing at her adoringly and hoping for some play which I obliged. Tom had also tried as well and brought one of his spring coils to her and dropped it next to her. I threw it for him instead. Bless. It’s a shame she is not a cat person. I don’t know how you can resist those big beautiful blue eyes!
