I brought another friend from work to visit them the other evening while we had a break. The boys were curious, especially Charlie. My friend is not really a cat person but she did give them a few strokes and she said ‘Wow they are so fluffy!’ Yes indeed.

Leo and Charlie are getting bigger and fluffier. They seem to grow by another couple of inches every day. Their appetites are still as voracious as ever and Charlie especially. And they have so much energy. They love charging about and chasing their balls and other toys.

They have been more affectionate lately while I have been working longer and later hours sometimes. When I laid down on the sofa the other day I had all of them come and sit on me. Although Jack gets irritated and jumps off. He does not like to share me.

Playing with them today, Charlie was so funny. He just goes up to Jack and whacks him in the face and Jack then retaliates and they have a little scrap. Boys will be boys.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
