Leo wanted the top spot on the cat tree the other day and Jack was already there. He jumps up anyway and sits on top of Jack. Jack hisses and growls at him but eventually he gave up and jumped off so Leo got the spot. He is so naughty! I think he is trying to be the king of the household now but it won’t be that easy to push Jack out the all the time. He fights back when he has had enough. It is funny to watch their antics though. Jack looked at me like ‘Aren’t you going to do something?’ I said ‘No, its between you two. ‘

Last evening, Tom was snuggled up next to me on the sofa, and after a while Jack came up to join him. He then proceeded to lick Tom over and over for ages until it was quite soggy around ears. It was so sweet. Although I think Tom was getting a bit fed up of it after a while and his fed up as he had a very wet head after Jack had licked him so much. Despite all their squabbles they love each other dearly I am sure.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
