Leo just loves chewing those toilet rolls. Found another toilet roll on the landing last week, and he was sitting there looking so innocent. I told him off and he just stares at me with those beautiful blue eyes as if butter wouldn’t melt. He attacked the kitchen roll on the worktop yesterday as well and ripped off little bits. I have given up telling him not to now. I am a bit of a lax cat mummy. The only time I get mad is when Charlie jumps at my legs and digs his claws in when he wants food. Then I shout at him because it hurts!

Boyfriend found me a cuddly ragdoll cat toy at a local garden centre and he is called Shane (it’s a nice little story between me and boyfriend). When I bought Shane home and put him on the table, Jack knocked him off onto the floor, and Charlie was sniffing him and batting him with his paw. I think they were expecting it him to come to life and play with them. Sometimes I think he is real too! I think I am going a bit bonkers….

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
