12th May Blog Post 111 Fun Bird Watching

Spent loads of time in the garden with them this morning. They were enjoying staring at the birds (see video) and then making a run for it to try and catch them even though they have no chance as the birds just flew over! They find it fun anyway but it makes my heart jump into my mouth every time they charge towards the fence! A couple of days ago, there were loads of starlings on the lawn eating all the yucky slugs in my garden (my garden has terrible turf that the contractors laid when the house was built a couple of years and it’s so muddy and does not drain water properly and the grass is patchy) and the boys were glued to the patio doors making those funny excited chirrup noises. Kept them quiet for about half an hour.

Jack is so completely different with boyfriend now! He loves him and rolls on his tummy for tummy tickles when he greets him at the door. When he leaves, they all gather by the back door and try and stop him from going. It’s so lovely. Like a happy little family now.
