I had a lovely week resting my toe last week and enjoying cuddles on the sofa with the boys, although I was starting to get a little bored and stir-crazy! (My toe still hurts though unfortunately and now I am back at work walking on it, ouch!) I haven’t played with the boys as much these past few days and I think that has led to them going slightly bonkers last night. About half an hour before my bedtime they decide to run around and chase each other through the living room and the kitchen and up and down the stairs! Charlie started a fight with Leo by sitting on him while he was in the cat tunnel. Then Charlie poked him in the face. Then Jack joined in and was chasing Leo around. Even the placid Tom suddenly had a bonkers moment, his fur standing on end and his tail up and ears pricked up. He looked wild! Then he went charging into the kitchen nearly slipping on the floor! I distracted them with some supper and boyfriend was too slow this time with protecting Tom from Leo. Leo muscled in on Tom’s bowl as usual so he only got a few mouthfuls. He seems to think that is all he is allowed now bless him, and he has given up now and just wanders off when Leo comes to his bowl. Why is it he can have this crazy energetic moment but then he won’t fight for his food? I guess he is just not bothered!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
