Still hobbing about with my broken toe but I did manage to go and do some actual work this week albeit limping a lot. I did not use my walking stick at work as I was too embarrassed although I should have. The boys are getting used to it and me not being able to move as fast. They still like to chase each other around the garden on our walks though, which is painful for me as I hobble after them (I am always worried they will make a break for the fence!)

They have been pestering me a lot when I am working at home, especially in the morning. Even though they have their one hour of playtime in the garden, they meow at me (Leo and Charlie) as they want to have more playtime. I explain to them they will have to play with each other and not me. However, they prefer playtime with mummy involved. At least if I do play with them for a bit they tend to have a nap afterward (and after lunch) so I can get some peace for a while!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
