My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

14th  Aug Blog Post 138 Grumpy Jack 

Jack is still such a grumpy so-and-so when it comes to cuddles and fuss with mummy and the other boys are there too.

The moment I lay on the sofa for a rest, Jack straight away jumps on me and wants cuddles and he starts ‘kneading’ me. Tom often wants to come up too but he waits till I have a free lap. Charlie and Leo don’t care who else is on my lap and they jump up for some fuss as well. Jack was really cross yesterday. Leo jumped up onto me not long after Jack did. Jack was glaring at him while sitting right on my chest (Leo was on my legs.) He had such a funny expression on his face—a mixture of anger and irritation. I tried to explain to him that he has to get used to sharing me with others but no, Jack wants me all to himself. So he jumped off onto the floor in a huff and went into the cat tunnel to sleep. Then Leo decides he wants to go in there as well and he jumps off me and then tries to climb into the cat tunnel with Jack. I then heard this angry growl! Jack was not happy about Leo muscling in on his space. Leo did not give up though and proceeded to snuggle up to him. Jack then hissed and jumped out and walked off to sit under the cat tree instead. It was so funny but it is also frustrating they can’t all get along all the time! However, Tom is more laidback and lets Leo eat his food. Those two often snuggle on my bed together. Charlie likes to cuddle with Tom as well sometimes. Jack will always be a bit more of a loner I think and a mummy’s boy!
