I had snuggles with Leo and Tom today sitting together on my chest and licking each other purring away. It reminds me of a kitten video my cat breeder sent me once which had four fluffy Ragdoll kittens all piled on top of their mum (cat mum not human this time) enjoying the warmth and comfort.

I definitely took the place of their original cat mum when I got them as kittens and I get so much joy out of their unconditional adoring love. Although, the jealousy is not very nice and I don’t like it when they fight over me. Jack tends to get the most jealous and he hates sharing me with anyone else (including boyfriend.)

P.S Tom’s eye is a lot better now. It was a battle to get the eye dropsl in his eye but I think he managed to get enough of it to sort the infection!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
