There has been a lot of squabbling this week, I am wondering why. It has been Jack versus Tom, Leo versus Charlie, Jack versus Charlie, and Jack hissing at Leo often, whenever he comes near, but that is nothing new!

Maybe it’s boredom but I play with them every day and they have their morning walk every day. I also think maybe Jack is asserting his dominance more especially when he picks fights with Tom who is so laidback and does not care who is the boss! Jack likes to be fed at the top of the stairs now. I used to think it was laziness but now at most mealtimes if he is downstairs, he runs upstairs so I have to bring his food up there to him! He likes to be ‘top’ of everything. I know I shouldn’t pander to him but I think it’s amusing and whatever my boys want they usually get. I am a pushover. Charlie on the other hand, is just a stirrer. He likes to cause trouble and he has the worst naughty streak! It is usually him that starts fights. I have given up telling him off. It makes no difference!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
