9th Oct 2023 Blog Post 153 Missing Boyfriend and Jack’s Jealousy 

My poor boyfriend was poorly last week so we did not see each other for a few days (I missed him terribly!) The boys did not seem that bothered, although Tom kept leaving a spot for him on the sofa! However, Jack has now decided the sofa is his and is sitting on it more than he ever did before! When boyfriend was feeling better he fed the boys for me on Friday while I was out at work all day and he said it was really funny seeing the reactions of the boys after not seeing him for so long. He said Tom was glaring at him as if to say ‘where were you to protect from Leo eating my food!’. Leo was a bit suspicious of this ‘new person’ and was a bit wary. Charlie was all over him and wanted fuss and tummy tickles. King Jack was a bit standoffish at first but then did come over to eat some food eventually. Then when boyfriend went to get their empty bowls Jack went charging past him up to my room and straight onto the bed in his usual spot as if to say ‘You are not going to take my place on the bed again!’ He is so jealous of boyfriend. When boyfriend came round for the first time together for a long while, Jack had already planted himself in the middle of the sofa clearly trying to not let us sit together! I promptly moved him and he was not happy. It’s nice to have things back to normal again.
