It is getting more and more difficult to find room on the sofa. Everyday the boys are there from late morning to the afternoon and sometimes into the evening as well. When I have a little lay down in the afternoon (a power nap) I have to move them so I can get on the sofa. Normally Leo and Tom are stretched out across it, and sometimes it is all four of them! Yesterday when I wanted to lay on the sofa in the evening (was just me last night so did not have to make room for boyfriend too) and I had to pick Jack up and put him on the floor as otherwise there would be no room for me. Tom was there as well but was pretending to not notice. Jack was not happy! He was grumbling loudly at me (he makes this funny growl noise when he is cross.) I apologised to him but it is my sofa and they never used to hog it so much! Then today when I had a little lay down for half an hour, Charlie and Tom were laid on the sofa and I needed to move Charlie to make room. I picked him up (he hates that) and he meowed at me as if to say ‘Mummy I am comfy I don’t want to move!’ I felt a bit guilty, but they need to make room for me sometimes. They can have the sofa for most of the day when I am not on it but I would like some relaxation time in the evening on my sofa. Not sure how me and boyfriend are going to manage from now on if this is every night we have to fight the sofa war!
