My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Three

16th Aug 2024 Blog Post 233 Spot on Difficulties 

Last week I managed to put their feal stuff on them. Was a bit of challenge. I started with Leo who was very unaware of what I was doing until I got the spot on stuff on his neck. He then wriggled a bit but managed to rub it in. I then put it on Charlie and he did not fight me too much. Jack however, was more difficult. He was about to run upstairs but I grabbed him and blobbed the stuff on his neck. He was fighting to get free but I managed to rub it in. Finally it was Tom’s turn and he had had lots of time to run and hide. I found him in the spare bedroom under the bed. I had to almost drag him out and sit on him (gently.) He wriggled and fought me but finally got the stuff on. He ran off again when I had finished and it took him a while to come back down stairs. I did apologise but I said it is for their own good. I do hate doing it as it always leaves a patch on the fur thats all greasy and yucky. It must be done though as although they are house cats they do go out and you never know if they might pick up fleas outside.

And I have to go through it all again soon when I put their wormer stuff on. (I am definitely not going to try tablets as that will never work!)
