Had a great weekend last weekend with boyfriend with our usual shopping and nature walks and pottering around my house doing jobs (with the boys watching us as always.) On Monday it was boyfriends’ birthday (I won’t say how old he is lol.) I spent the morning putting up the decorations and setting the table and putting out his birthday presents. The boys were all around me and wanted to be part of the occasion. I scared them a bit when I was trying to blow up the rubbish little balloons I had bought. They were really small and I was using the balloon pump and every so often I would put too much air in them and they would pop. The boys were walking around on the more spacious dining room table (without all my work stuff on) and were knocking over the table setting. I still have the helium birthday balloon left over from my birthday a month ago and I tied it to my boyfriend’s present bag and then 3 minutes later Leo chewed through the string and it floated back up to the ceiling. Leo enjoyed playing with the balloons on the floor and batting them about.

After boyfriend came over and he had opened his presents, Charlie made us all jump as he was chewing on a balloon and it popped.

We had dinner together later and the boys let us eat in peace. We then watched a movie and the boys were all running around upstairs and playing. Then later they all ran back into the lounge and they all proceeded to try and sit on me. Jack was cross as he did not want to sit near Leo and Charlie so he gave up and went to sit on the cat tree. Leo, Charlie and Tom all came up to me for a cuddle on the sofa. We managed to eat our popcorn in peace as well. Late night for us all but fun night. Really enjoyed it and the boys did too.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
