13th Jan blog post 272 Ticats and Cakes Cat Club Cat Show
We went to the Ticats cat show yesterday. It was brilliant and I really enjoyed it. It was the same one we went to last June. I was a bit braver this time and chatted more to some of the owners and got to stroke their cats and take pics. I met an abyssinian, main coon, siamese, british shorthair, an american curl (looked like it had a perm!), a couple of Ragdolls, and even a Sphynx cat. I got to stroke it and it felt very smooth and soft. I told the owner he was gorgeous but actually me and boyfriend thought it looked like a wrinkly old man! Our favourite cat, Tudor, wasn’t there this time which was a shame. We had been given a ‘Visitor’s Choice’ rosette we could give to any of the cats but we wanted it to go to Tudor so when we saw he wasn’t there we decided to take the rosette home and save it for next time!
It was Charlie and Leo’s birthday yesterday. I bought some toys from the show (and some cuddlies for myself) and I am saving some toys for Tom and Jack’s birthday in April. We got home in the afternoon and I gave Charlie and Leo their birthday card and then the presents. We had a cardboard christmas tree with balls in for them and I gave Charlie one of the Myshka’s Toy Box fluffy rats which he loves and I gave Leo a feather wand and a cat nip mouse that apparently has super strength cat nip. Jack, Tom and Leo loved the cat nip mouse and were fighting over it. Charlie has been carrying around his little rat. They did not seem that bothered with the cardboard christmas tree but Leo managed to get one of the balls out. I also bought a pot of cat grass which Leo loves to nibble on. It was a really fun day and am so glad we went to it. More memories made!
