If you love Ragdolls you have come to the right place!
My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Blog Part Two
Blog Post 35 Aug 12th Visit
On the 29th of July, my friend from work came to visit and meet Charlie and Leo (she had met Jack and Tom briefly before), and she made the mistake of bringing her lunch with her. I eat at the worktop on one of the bar stools, so the food is out of reach.
She sat at my dining room table which is also my office, and I had forgotten that Leo and Charlie are not used to people eating food there. They immediately jumped up on the table and tried to get to her lunch (which was eggs and vegetables I don’t think they would have liked it anyway.) It was quite funny, and thankfully my friend was so bemused by it that she was not bothered. She is not used to cats or pets in general, so I think she found it quite fascinating. She was almost afraid to touch them at first, and she asked me if they would scratch her. I said no, not usually unless I play with them and they get a bit carried away. I explained that Ragdolls are the most laid-back breed, just big fluffy teddy bears. Leo and Charlie like meeting new people but Jack and Tom are still a bit wary but less scared than they used to be. I think now there are four of them, Jack and Tom feel braver. Anyway, my friend ended up eating her lunch standing up in the kitchen, but no harm was done. It’s funny I always look forward to people meeting my boys as if they are my children and get embarrassed when they are naughty.
Another funny thing was that I noticed Charlie has some dark spots on his head, and I thought they were dirt! I was trying to rub them off before I realized it was fur, and he was just growing darker patches! Duh. I think he was wondering what I was doing!
