My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part 2

6th June Blog Post 16 Cats and Washing Machines

Leo has started going in the washing machine as well now. I took a picture and a little video (which you will find in my gallery and on my Youtube channel). Their curiosity is never-ending. They have to explore everything and more than once as well. Jack and Tom, even now, when they have been everywhere in the house (and in the garden), when I open a cupboard they have a look inside. Nothing is off-limits in my house for the most part (unless it is dangerous) so I don’t mind them exploring as long as I am watching them. From the beginning I let them have free reign of my (their) home. It is important to keep in mind that they are house-cats and apart from occasional walks in the garden they are confined to these four walls. Luckily, I do have a big house which I am so grateful for. It has allowed them so much space to play and explore and make their ‘nests’ where they like to sleep. I have created a cat paradise and there are always toys and play areas for them. I am always trying to fend off their boredom as I know their world is small. I like to think they are content and happy with what I have provided for them and they certainly seem so.
