26th Feb Blog Post 188 Squabbles Again- Boys will be Boys

Saturday evening was very much like Thursday evening last week. Me and boyfriend were settling in for some relaxation and DVD watching time. We managed to shove Charlie and Jack out the way so we could sit down on the sofa. It wasn’t long before they were running around again and being a bit bonkers. Then Charlie jumps in front of the TV. Jack decided to pick a fight with Tom (who is so placid normally) and there was fisticuffs. Poor Tom. I think Jack is trying to assert his dominance by picking on an easy target like Tom (rather than Charlie who is the worst instigator of violence!) Then later on Leo decided to go for his usual evening poo in the tray in the kitchen so we got a nice whiff of it! I am sure Leo saves his poos just for boyfriend’s benefit. Lets hope the boys are a bit calmer this week so we can have a relaxing quiet evening together but I doubt it. P.S. Leo caught a worm yesterday and he was very proud of it carrying it across the garden to the patio door, thankfully he left it on the ground and did not bring it inside like Charlie does. Yuck.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
