Poor Jack had his runny bum IBS problem again on Friday and Saturday last week. Had to get the baby wipes out a few times to clean his bum and back legs and had to clean up the trays many times. I am still not really sure what causes it but I treated him with some of the Panacur worming paste again and some Digestiv Pro paste and he was better by Sunday. He was not happy when I gave him his medicine and there was a bit of a struggle. I think he knows I am helping him though, as it was not as difficult as it was last time I had to give him some. He forgave me later and we had lots of cuddles. I hate seeing him poorly and uncomfortable. He is right as rain now and eating well and playing with the others as normal. I got woken up on Sunday night at 2AM by Leo throwing up on the carpet in my bedroom! I am a light sleeper anyway and the retching sound got me out of bed pretty quick! I found Leo throwing up a piece of plastic he must have eaten at some point! I was not impressed! I had to get the sponge out and try to clean the mess of the carpet and then turned out the light and went back to bed! Charlie woke me up later on (about 4AM) purring on my chest. It is quite a nice way to wake up and I am an early bird anyway! Hopefully, no more throw up or diarrhoea this week!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
