My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Three

8th May Blog 207 Misbehavings

Jack keeps opening that drawer under the bed. I close it every time I see it open, which is most of the time, and then I look the next day and it’s open again! I still have not actually caught him in the act yet but I know it is him. I underestimate just how strong Ragdolls are with their big fluffy paws and sharp claws which Jack must use to hook under the drawer and then pull it out. Tom was going bonkers in the garden this morning. He sometimes has a ‘mad’ moment (or the poopy zoomies) and meows at me, then jumps onto my chair with his paws on the back of the chair and tries to knock me with his paw. Then I say ‘What is it darling?’ and then he meows again and goes charging off into the garden and runs in a circle with his ears back and eyes wide and tail standing up! It is very funny. Sometimes he goes after Leo or Jack and tries to knock them over. Leo also likes to do this to Charlie and leapfrogs over him and whacks him on the head! Charlie meows at him and then looks at me as if to say ‘Mummy look what he did!’ Ha ha. Serves you right. Jack got his own back on Charlie on Saturday morning. While I was cycling on my exercise bike, Charlie was curled up on the little cat tree that is next to the big cat tree. Jack was up on the top shelf of the big cat tree and was just above Charlie and he suddenly started batting Charlie on the head with his paw! Hilarious! Charlie was not amused. I was secretly pleased Jack got one over on Charlie for once!
