My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Three

19th May Blog 210 Squirrell

Did not get time to post Friday and tomorrow so posting today. Me and the boys had a good walk in the garden this morning, except we kept getting dive bombed by the aggressive blackbirds and Charlie chased after them and leapt up at the fence trying to hold on with his claws but fell off. I was relieved to say the least. Those black birds are a pain as they get the boys far too excited and I get so worried one day they will scale that fence. On Tuesday last week we had a squirrel in the garden which was fun to watch. He was feeding from the bird feeders. We have had those bird feeders up for a year and no birds have used them. I think it is just the squirrel! He managed to bite into the plastic and make a bigger hole in the side so he could get the mixed seeds and then the other bird feeder has metal mesh around it and he uses his little claws and digs out the peanuts. I added some more peanuts for him and filled up the other with bird seed. He was at it for ages, probably about an hour. Jack was the only one who was interested. He was watching intently from the patio door swishing his tail from side to side. Charlie and the others got bored and wandered off to play in the lounge but Jack was determined to keep watching Mr Squirrel. I hope he visits again. At least the bird feeders are getting some action!
