My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Three

3rd June May Blog 214 Lost Leo?

On my god! I nearly lost Leo on Friday morning! He finally did it and jumped up to the top of the fence! I was in the kitchen with Tom and I thought the others were just sat in the corner of the garden as usual looking at the sky. The next minute I hear a loud bang and I knew that was the sound of a cat jumping the fence and ran to the corner and there was Leo perched on top of the fence looking over into the neighbours (who have the dogs!) garden. I shouted at him and grabbed him and managed to get my hands on his back, tummy and around his back legs and dragged him off and carried him back in the house! I nearly had a heart attack! I grabbed Charlie (he was not happy) and Jack and brought them in too. I needed a moment to compose myself. I was so rattled. Leo looked a bit sheepish and I told him off again. I said from now on it is harnesses and leads in the garden! That won’t go down well but tough. There is no way I can leave Leo free to roam in the garden now without a lead and me watching him like a hawk as I am sure he will try it again. I knew he would do it one day. He is so curious and nimble. Just hope the others don’t try as well but I don’t think they know how to jump that high, I hope!
