04 October 2024 Blog Post 246 Cuddles and Dribbling

I have just a little lie down on the sofa cuddling with Tom and Leo. I don’t have naps anymore as a rule so I sleep better at night (in theory!) and I think Tom and the other boys miss cuddling with mummy on the sofa. So today while I have not got as much on, I will make time for some cuddles. Tom was lying on my chest with his legs in the air and Leo as stretched out over my legs. Am a little worried about Leo as he has been dribbling a bit today. I noticed there was saliva around his mouth this morning. He is eating and drinking okay and otherwise well in himself. We had a playing session this morning and he was energetic as usual. It was funny though as it descended into a spat between Leo and Charlie. Leo was playing with one of the realistic furry mice that Charlie likes and Charlie thumped leo on the head and tried to get it back! Then a few minutes later, Leo found on of those silver vine sticks I got for them ages ago and was playing with it on the stairs. Charlie jumped onto the stairs and started trying to get it back from Leo so he could play with it and then another squabbling fight started between them! They just cannot play nicely together! I wondered if maybe Leo has got a sore mouth from fighting, although I can’t see any wound on his mouth. I will keep an eye on him over the weekend and if he is still dribbing Monday or any other symptoms then it is off to the vet!
