Both sets of brothers have their own special bond. You can see it sometimes when they play together or sleep together. Leo and Charlie and Jack and Tom. Me and boyfriend had a lovely sight on Friday night. As usual we were forced to gingerly sit at one end of the sofa with three Ragdolls hogging it. Charlie was in the middle and then Jack and Tom were at the end of the sofa cuddled up next to each (see photo) with Jack putting a protective paw on Tom’s back. It was so adorable. Jack is normally the fearsome boss cat and is not very affectionate with the other boys but that moment showed his love and affection for his brother. Charlie ruined it later by prodding Jack and annoying him until an argument started and then Jack jumped off in a huff. Charlie usually ruins any loving moments with his naughtiness! I had Charlie and Leo on the sofa with me yesterday and at first they were licking each other and being sweet. The next minute Charlie is biting Leo’s throat and kicking him and then all out war starts and they both jumped off and were chasing each other around. Brothers will be brothers.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
