13th Dec Blog Post 264 Cuddles with Charlie and Funny Tom

Charlie really is the baby of the group. Lately he has been climbing into my lap for cuddles which is unusual for the boys as they are so big they don’t quite fit on my lap! They prefer to lay on top of me or sit beside me. In the afternoons Charlie quite often jumps up on the chair next to me and then paws at me as he wants fuss and attention and then he proceeds to climb across from his chair into my lap. He is the smallest of all the boys so he almost fits in my lap but I have to put my arm around him to make sure he does not fall off. He then kneads me and purrs like a motorbike. It is very sweet and I do like cuddling him. However, he then proceeds to paw at my face, play with my necklaces and then chew my fingers! He even managed to bite my chin today! They are usually soft bites so I don’t think he intends to hurt me but sometimes it gets a bit painful when he is chewing away! He really is such a funny character. Then Tom surprised me today. I was eating an apple and he was on the chair next to me and he then started pawing at my hand that was holding the apple (I had finished it by then so it was the apple core) and he started licking it! He has never done that before. I thought cats did not like fruit and apparently they can’t taste sweet flavours. Tom enjoyed licking it, but he didn’t actually eat it. Ragdolls are so bonkers!
