Caught Jack trying to get out the downstairs toilet window this morning. He was sat on the toilet looking up at the window sill. I had started leaving that window and sometimes that kitchen window slightly ajar to let some air in and the few times I have done it, the boys had not noticed. However, it seems eventually Jack noticed! I don’t think he would have fit through it anyway as he is enormous and it is a small window! I just cannot trust them, they are so curious and sneaky. Windows firmly shut now. At least we get some fresh air when I have the patio door open in the early morning for our walk. It was a bit of a damp walk this morning as was raining all day yesterday. Boyfriend is away for a few days at the moment so me and the boys are a bit depressed (well, me more than them!) They still leave a space for boyfriend on the sofa in the evening but it is just us at the moment. Can’t wait till he comes back! I think even Jack would be happy about it (maybe!)

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
