My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

28th July Blog Post 133 Charlie!

Charlie really is a Jekyll and Hyde character. One minute he is acting all cute and baby-ish and you think ‘awww he is so lovely’ and the next minute he turns into a little devil and you tell him off for being naughty! The other day he whacked Jack in the face with his paw when poor Jack was just trying to eat some cat biscuits. I was surprised that Jack did not retaliate but he walked off and ignored him instead. Later, when Charlie and Tom were snuggling on my lap on the sofa, Charlie decides to start biting Tom’s throat! I think it was probably more of a playful bite but it looked a bit vicious to me so I prised his jaws off Tom’s throat (he did not seem that bothered) and then Charlie proceeded to chew on my fingers instead! I will need to get him a dog chew toy or something to try and substitute for Tom’s throat and my fingers! He quite often jumps on Leo and bites his throat was well. Leo will fight back though and gives Charlie what for. They chase each other around the house and I just hope they don’t end up hurting themselves or knocking something over. Charlie can be a bit gross as well. I saw him licking a giant slug when we were out in the garden yesterday! I think he was just curious but yuck! I told him I didn’t think the slug will taste very nice. Thankfully he only did that one time and then got distracted by moths in the grass and was chasing after them instead.
