Things have been relatively quiet this week—no dramas in my cat family. Charlie has been going after the wasps again but thankfully has not been stung again so far. I noticed we have had a squirrel who has been eating the peanuts in the bird feeder! I don’t think we have had any actual birds eat them much at all though! Oh well,at least we are attracting some wildlife!
Have been at home all week with the boys as I have been trying to rest my broken toe. Have a walking stick to hobble around with. The boys are still scared of it especially Tom who runs away from it when he sees it! I have just caught Leo chewing on the kitchen roll on the worktop again! He has such a cute look on his face when I tell him off. His eyes are wide and he has that ‘rabbit in headlights’ look when he realises he has been caught! Now he is chewing a plastic bag! I think I better go and stop him…

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
