More inter-family squabbling this week as the boys fight over me for my attention.

Charlie and Jack had a fight last week about who got to sit next to my laptop on the table with me. Charlie won in the end.

Then yesterday, I had a little nap in the afternoon and first Leo jumps up. Jack was not happy! He just sat there glaring at him. Then Leo jumps down again. Then Tom jumps up and has a good old kneading session on me, purring away. Then he jumps down. Then Charlie jumps on the stool next to the sofa and then climbs onto my chest and starts purring. After a while, he jumps down. Finally, I nodded off for a bit, then a felt a soft fluffy lump land on me and Jack had jumped up, happy at last he had me to himself. He made himself comfy and then we had our nap together, with the other boys laying on the floor nearby. It was really sweet actually but I do wish they would not get so jealous of each other when they all want to snuggle up with me!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
