Tom is getting used to boyfriend protecting him from the greedy Leo in the evening when he has supper. It was so sweet the other night when I gave them all their supper and Tom actually patiently waited for boyfriend to come and sit next to him before he started eating as he knew he would guard him against Leo. Leo tried to muscle in on Tom’s food but boyfriend made sure he didn’t get any and Tom managed to finish it for once!

Leo goes after Jack instead but he is afraid of Jack and tends to wait until Jack is finished (as he always leaves some food) and then he finishes it off. I think Leo is learning that is not always that easy to bully others into getting what he wants and he needs to learn some manners at mealtimes!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
