My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

1st Sep Blog Post 143 Bats and Balls

Leo was having fun with his ball stacker toy upstairs yesterday. I noticed that there were no balls left in it so I looked around upstairs and found some under the bed. I put them back into the stacks in the toy and left it on the landing. About 20 minutes later I heard this rattling noise and the next minute one of the balls came bouncing down the stairs quickly followed by another! I went to look and the little monkey got all the balls out again! I put them all back in again as he clearly enjoys pulling them out! Kept him busy for a while!

It was interesting watching the wildlife in the garden on our walk this morning. When we first went out it was still dark (yes I get up a stupid o’clock!) and we saw the bats flying low, zipping around above us. The boys were fascinated. I think they thought there were speedy tiny birds! Then as the sun came up and it became lighter, all the birds started flying over. We saw loads of crows, seagulls, and starlings flying over. Then the stupid pigeons start flapping about and landing on the rooves of the houses. Leo, Jack, and Charlie made the ‘chatter’ noise when they saw them.

Charlie is getting more curious about what is over the fence, this time it is boyfriend’s garden next door. We share a tiny bit of fence behind the garage and it is not a very sturdy fence to say the least. Charlie was pushing it with his head while trying to look under it. It was creaking a bit! Sorry boyfriend, you may end up with a Charlie-shaped hole in your fence panel if he keeps bumping against it!
