11th Sep Blog Post Big Spiders and Tummy Upsets

Poor Jack has got an upset tummy again. He has been having runny poops on and off all weekend. Not sure what has caused it. Maybe something he ate in the garden? They do like eating grass and insects! I have given them a worming treatment today just in case its that and I have given him some of the medicine the vet prescribed for him in April (which was a bit of a battle at first). I am hoping it will settle down or it will be a trip to the vet which will not be much fun! I have had a tummy upset this morning as well so me and Jack are both a bit underweather today. Not a good start to the week.

Other than the tummy upset he seems okay in himself just a bit meowy and following me around a bit more than usual.

On our garden walk yesterday, there was a massive spider on the fence. It made me recoil in horror. Leo was jumping up to it as it was crawling out of reach. Then he gave up and went after Daddy long legs instead. Later on, Charlie spotted it and it was not a match for him. He swiped it off the fence grabbed it and promptly ate it! It was really gross and felt sorry for the spider. Charlie was very proud of himself!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
