I made a new toy and a game on Monday and Tuesday this week. Had a couple of new cardboard boxes (been ordering too much stuff online again!) and as the boys like going in them I had an idea. I opened the boxes out and then created a tunnel for them. It is a bit unstable as it is just taped together ‘Blue Peter’ style. I chucked some toys in there for them and they had great fun running in and out. Charlie likes to poke his paws out from underneath and try and swipe at me or Leo. Or they chase each other in and out of it and knock it over. I have to be careful they don’t start chewing the sellotape as well! I have left the tunnel there for now in the kitchen for when they want to play in it. However, I keep tripping over it so I think I will end up chucking it away! At least it was an inexpensive new toy and very enjoyable for them.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
