16th October 2023 Blog Post 155 More Worms and Comfy Sofa Time

The worms saga continued. Jack was a lot better Friday and then Charlie started with a bit of runny bum and then on Saturday Leo and Tom had it too. I am sure it is worms and as all of them have been in the garden eating grass and walking in mud et cetera they must have picked them up from there. So I dosed them all with some more of the worming paste and fingers crossed today they seem back to normal.

We had a very muddy walk on Friday and Saturday as it rained all day Friday and the garden was starting to turn into a swamp. Leo got filthy as he was digging in the mud at the fence again probably looking for frogs!

Leo, Tom and Jack seemed to have claimed my sofa now as their new ‘spot’ to sit on. There is not much room for me and boyfriend now! I don’t mind them sitting there during the day but when it gets to evening and it’s ‘our’ time I move them so we can sit down and get comfy. I think they do consider the entire house and everything in it is theirs! Leo, Tom and Charlie did look cute yesterday afternoon when they were all cuddled on the sofa and licking each other! Jack does not like sharing the sofa with anyone except me so he only went on after the others had jumped off!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
