The boy’s new favourite spot seems to be my sofa now. Ever since I put a fleece blanket on there for me to snuggle under in the evenings, the boys have decided it is so soft and comfy they would like to sit there. It is either Jack, Leo and Charlie or Charlie, Tom and Leo laid on there together. It is a bit irritating in the evening when me and boyfriend want to sit there! They won’t budge either so you have to pick them (and they are quite heavy) and move them onto the floor. Jack was especially not happy at being moved from his spot!

I rarely have my afternoon naps now as in the afternoon they all gather on the sofa leaving no room for me. I must admit it was sweet when I caught Jack, Charlie and Leo cuddling up together there the other day and I took a picture. It is rare they get so close as usually Jack hisses at Leo and Charlie if they try to cuddle up to him. They are such big softies. Maybe I should get them their own sofa!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
