It has been so wet in my garden because of the recent heavy rain. I didn’t want to deny the boys their daily treat of fun in the garden so I let them go out even if it was wet and soggy.

Leo has been loving it! He is like a dog and digs into the muddy and then tried to eat it which is bizarre! Ragdolls are bonkers sometimes. Unfortunately then he has got himself so muddy it gets everywhere! When I picked him up to bring him in I got mud all down my jeans and they he ran all around the kitchen and the lounge and jumped on my chair and got mud everywhere! I will have to do lots of regular mopping to get rid of his paw marks!

Tom and Jack got a bit muddy as well as they like to go walking right into the muddiest wettest corners of the garden. Thankfully they do all clean themselves not long after we come in and it’s surprising how quickly they get the mud off their paws!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
