My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

27th Nov Blog Post 164 Guarding the Bed

We got the fence fixed thankfully. One of boyfriends mates was able to drill some screws in to secure it. It is funny though, as the boys had not gone back to the wobbly fence all week since I shove that piece of wood under it to stop it wobbling. Then the day after it is fixed they go and have a look and try their luck, finding it no longer wobbling. It is like they knew that it had been fixed but they wanted to test it anyway!

Last Monday was funny. The boys are normally either hogging the sofa in the evening or on their cat tree in the lounge. Last Monday evening, they were upstairs most of the evening when me and boyfriend were watching TV. Then when we wanted a bit of alone time later on, we go upstairs to my bedroom and all the boys are sat on the bed looking at as suspiciously! It was like they were guarding it! I soon turfed them out though as I won’t let them stop our fun. There was a bit of scratching at the door but it stopped after a few minutes as I think they knew they were not going to get their way! Why is it when we want some peace and quiet in the evening, they either commandeer the sofa or they run around like loonies and sit in front of the TV, then as soon as me and boyfriend want to go upstairs for a bit they decide they want to hog the bed instead! Typical.
