My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

1st Dec Blog Post 165 Christmas Shopping

It was my boyfriend’s birthday last weekend. I got him lots of presents. I put up a couple of happy birthday message posters and some balloons. It was funny when he was opening them as the boys were all circling and trying to get inside the bags and see what was inside. I think they hoped there were presents for them! Then they had a good run around afterwards and were squabbling with each other while my boyfriend and I were trying to enjoy some romantic moments! We had a good laugh at them though. Leo and Charlie were having fun with the balloons as well. They kept pawing at them and then running away from them when the got too close. (Leo has now managed to pop them all!) We went shopping later and I bought the boys their Christmas presents. There were ‘4 for 3′ deals in Pets at Home so I couldn’t resist. I got them about three presents each so far and one big-ish present which is a new scratching board. I asked boyfriend to keep this at his house until Christmas as if I had brought it into my house they would have been onto it straight away! I managed to hide their presents in the cupboard and they haven’t noticed them yet. Not sure how I will wrap them as they are always nearby so it is difficult to find time alone to wrap! All in all it was a lovely weekend for boyfriend and I. I think the boys felt a little left out as we were out most of the weekend. I made it up to them with lots of cuddles and play this week. I am looking forward to Christmas this year. It will be nice to spend it with boyfriend and indulge in our presents as well as watching the boys’ reactions when we open theirs for them! I am not putting up Christmas decorations and a tree however, as that would be a disaster. The boys would have the whole lot on the floor in seconds!
