My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

4th Dec Blog Post 166 Pawprints in the Snow

It was absolutely adorable and amusing watching the boys in the snow this morning. It snowed about 2 inches overnight and the garden was beautiful and white. When it was time for the boys’ walk after their breakfast, I opened the patio door and they all sat there staring out at the snow. I think they were a bit confused as to what this white stuff was. I went out first in my boots and the snow crunched as I walked and it startled them as they wondered what the noise was! First Leo went out as he is quite fearless and then Charlie. It took them a while to get confident to walk on the grass. Then when they realised the ground was still there they started running around and chasing each other. Their little pawprints all over the garden. It took Jack and Tom a lot longer to come out as they were very suspicious. They did eventually and it was hilarious watching Jack! He was walking really slowly and was trying to put his paws in the already made prints in the snow as he was too scared to actually put his paw on fresh snow. Tom just sat on the patio and wouldn’t venture out any further. I think they all had fun in the end. Especially Leo. He loved it. They did all come in at about the right time as I was getting cold. Jack came in first then Tom, then Charlie and finally Leo. They were all licking their paws. Leo got the muddiest as usual! I must admit, I really enjoyed it and it was so lovely to see the boys discovering something new.
