I had frozen a bottle of water and a couple of balloons with water inside in the freezer for hot days so last week, I got them out of the freezer to play with. It was so funny. They were not sure what is was at first. Little paws prodding it and realising its cold. Thankfully they didn’t get the tongues stick to it! I let some of the water melt out onto the floor so they could have a little lick. Tom and Leo are fascinated by dripping water. When I pour some water into the fountains they try and lick the drips and Leo puts his head in the jug.

It was funny on Sunday last week. I was playing with them and then when I was walking into the kitchen I accidentally bumped into Charlie and he meowed and ran into the corner (he was okay don’t worry) and then Jack growled at me! I am sure it because he was being protective of Charlie and was cross with me for hurting him. They are more protective of the little brothers than I realised!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
