My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

Blog Post 43 (9th September 2022) Ouch Leo!

Week of 28th August- Walkies going well so far. They all seem to getting the hang of it and getting used to the routine of the daily early morning walk.  Slight drama last Sunday. Poor Leo got stung by a wasp. We still have a few wasps around that like to sit on the fence and the boys love to watch them and then try to pounce on them. I kept telling Leo not to or he will get stung, but curiosity is a powerful thing. The next minute he has knocked the wasp onto the grass and jumped on it, then he leaps up and runs into the house in a panic shaking his front paw! Oh, bless. I ran to comfort him and told him that was going to happen. He was fine after a few minutes and went back out again back to the fence! His paw was okay and did not swell up or anything thankfully. The next day on walkies Jack found a feather and was very proud himself and had fun playing with it. Charlie ended up grabbing it and then eating it. Tom got cobwebs all over his whiskers from rummaging around at the bottom of the fence.

Leo had great fun running up and down the garden despite the wasp sting. When the bin lorry drove by that scared them inside for a while and they sat in a row staring out of the patio doors with their big blue eyes wide. It was so cute.

Leo loves his new Flippy fish toy (the Wilko’s one) and he carried it up to bed last night I heard him playing with it and it was at the top of the stairs when I got up in the morning. I think it is so adorable when they carry their favourite toys upstairs at night!
