My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

Blog Post 74 Christmas Eve posted 3rd January 2023

I ended up throwing their advent calender away as they refused to eat the treats in their (sorry, Scrumbles!) Will get a different one next year. I was working over the Christmas weekend so unfortunately did not get to spend lots of time with them, but we still had some cuddles and play. It was funny Christmas eve morning. I heard this funny noise of something being dragged downstairs, and I thought one of them was bringing a toy down or something. Next minute there is a rustling sound in the kitchen, and I turn around, and Charlie’s bottom is sticking out of the side hole of one of the cat tunnels! It seems he did not fit in that hole properly and had not managed to pull himself out of it! It was funny, but I felt sorry for him. His little podgy belly is somewhat of a hindrance sometimes! I managed to pull the tunnel off him, and he plopped out of the hole looking a bit sheepish.

He’s such a cheeky monkey. He now patrols the worktops at mealtimes, and as soon as I get some food into the bowls, he is straight in there before you can see, ‘here you go’. More stories on that in the next few blogs as my neighbour has been having fun feeding them! Will also chat about Christmas presents opening and show you some pics and videos. Happy New Year.
