Blog Post 84 6th February Toilet Roll Woes

More toilet roll on the landing again! Found a long strip with teeth marks in it. I sighed with exasperation and went looking for the culprit (Leo.) I found Leo cuddled up with Tom on the spare room bed, looking so innocent. He looks at me eyes half closed and Tom has his paw over him as if protecting him from angry mummy. (I was not angry just frustrated.) I smiled at him as it was quite funny. And it was nice seeing Leo and Tom curled up together as they don’t normally hang out.

Later on, Charlie was sleeping next to my legs on the sofa, and Tom climbs down from the arm of the sofa and sits so close to Charlie he almost suffocates him. I don’t think it was intentional, or maybe it was. Charlie pushed him off eventually but they were licking each other for ages, so I think it was just affection. Mmm.

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
