The boys (especially Leo, Jack and Tom) are so clingy and whiny at the moment. Cats are so sensitive to change and they know something is different with me. Everywhere I turn, they are there under my feet. Especially Jack. He is such a mummy’s boy! I think maybe they are afraid I will forget them and start ignoring them! That would never happen. I always make time for them no matter what else is happening in my life. I think their whininess is to do with the boyfriend. However, Tom and Charlie are especially enjoying spending time with us together. They were both sitting next to us, snuggling up last night and enjoying the fuss. They are such loving soppy things. They are the best cats in the world (despite their whining!)

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
