Charlie tried to join in some boyfriend cuddles on the sofa last week. I think he thought it was a game, and he wanted to be part of it. It was so cute. There were lots of glares from Jack watching from the cat tree. He is very jealous, which is obvious from his body language.

The boys are being very overprotective at the moment and lots of yowling at me and following me around more than usual.

Jack is now going on the worktop, prowling around. I think he was fed up with Charlie and Leo being the only ones to go on the worktop and watch me get their food so boss Jack wants to be the leader of the pack in all things so it is his worktop now. He is irritating, though. He often goes up there in the mornings when I am trying to work, and he sits next to the sink and yowls at me for about half an hour. I do not know what he wants unless it is just for attention. Or he wants me to open all the cupboard doors for him, which I am not going to do! It is so interesting watching the changes in dynamics between them all as Charlie and Leo get bigger and more confident and Jack fights to keep his place as the boss! What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
