Ragdolls really are bonkers sometimes. Just when you think you understand most of their behaviours they do something, and you think, why?? Jack is driving me nuts at the moment. He is still king of the worktop but I don’t know know why sometimes he just sits by the sink and yowls really loudly and persistently until I get so cross I shout at him to shut up!

I don’t know what is bothering him. Maybe he just liked the sound of his own voice. Sometimes I turn the tap on as I do for Leo but that does not always placate him. I know he probably wants me to open all the kitchen cupboards for him, which I am not going to do, but sometimes, I just can’t work out what he is asking for, if anything at all.

Last night I got back a bit later from work as was doing a later shift, and the moment I got back they all start running around and chasing each other. Then they all go in their trays at the same time as if they have been holding it till I get back so they wee/poo in front of me. I know it is because they want mummy to be there to tell the they are good boys but it is a bit frustrating when all you want to do is chill out and you have these four naughty boys pestering you for attention!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
