26 May Blog Post 115 Bedroom Antics 

Unfortunately, the boys have been getting in between me and boyfriend a lot lately and we were struggling to have some ‘alone’ time if you know what I mean. We decided to shut the bedroom door for a bit of privacy. They were not happy about that! I am not sure which one it was I think it was Jack or Charlie, who was madly scratching at the carpet by the door. We ignored them hoping they would stop. Eventually, we let them back in and I did feel a bit guilty for shutting them out as I know they hate that. The next day I noticed they had scratched big lumps out of the carpet by the door and almost pulled it up from the floor. Oh dear! Maybe this cunning plan is not going to work long term. I told boyfriend he will have to buy me a new carpet if we keep having to shut the door! 

This morning Leo nearly got his head stuck in the hole in the wooden box that is in the catio. The carpenter put a few cat-friendly areas to play in, in the catio including this box with a hole cut out. Unfortunately, the hole is not big enough for the cats to fit through it as they are rather big! Thankfully Leo managed to wriggle out before I had to get the screwdriver to it to take it apart. Boyfriend says he is going to cut a bigger hole in the box at some point so they can fit in it. I will have to nag him to do that soon before one of them really does get wedged in there!
