My Ragdoll Cat Adventures Part Two

2nd June Post 117 Big Birds

Some big birds have been scaring the boys on our walks in the garden the last couple of days. Yesterday a big seagull landed on my neighbour’s roof and was squawking away and peering down at the boys who were sat in their various watching positions on the grass. Jack did not like the gull at all so he ran inside. The others stood their ground but I was getting a bit worried. They are such big birds with a nasty-looking beak and I bet if they felt threatened they would attack my babies.

Then today, a flock of geese flew over honking loudly to each other (it was quite nice to watch actually and listen to them) and all the boys were terrified and went running in, skidding on the floor and getting their leads wrapped around the table! Leo went all the way upstairs with his lead trailing down into the kitchen! It is good I have them on such long leads so they can escape back inside without it pulling on them.

This week they were enjoying a new box to play in. I had a package from Pets At Home that came in a big box with a lid on it and they had great fun each jumping in and then when one of the others paws at it to see who is inside, they jump out and scare each other or me. I was having fun playing with them yesterday, poking toys under the lid of the box and they would poke their paws out and knock it on the floor. So cute.
