Leo is so naughty! When we are walking in the garden yesterday he decided to leap up at the fence but did not make it far enough and bounced off. I ran to him and got hold of his lead. He looked at me sheepishly and I told him off. After that, I am walking close to him when he does do his excited creeping/pouncing/running around the garden as I do not want to let him out of my sight!

It has been getting warm in the house this week as the weather is hotting up. The boys are keeping cool by lying on their backs on the tiled floor with their paws in the air. We had a play session on Wednesday as I was out all day yesterday and they were enjoying themselves. Leo was getting excited and ran around like a looney! He was panting like a dog and his little heart was beating so fast I got worried. I said we should have a break and cool down a bit. I think he wanted to carry on but I cut play time short so they did not over-exert themselves in the heat. Anyway, I had some work to do!

What Is A Ragdoll Cat?

The Ragdoll cat as legend has it, was descended from Josephine a feral cat living in California in the 1960s. She was struck by a car and after she recovered, her kittens produced all the winning traits that would become the hallmark of the Ragdoll cat including large heavy build, soft downy fur, docility and laid-back personality. The original bloodlines of Ragdolls can be traced back to Ann Baker’s Ragdoll cats. It was she who developed the breed from the original Josphine. Ragdolls are beautiful, friendly, loving cats know as gentle giants of the cat world.
